Just to state the obvious, this is my first blog. Right now I have a million things I could be doing, but like most other high schoolers, I have found myself distracted by the internet, TV, granola... anything really. Tomorrow, once I run around the track for the last time in gym class and do a mock job interview, I will be able to say that I'm done with high school. It seems like I gained seniority so quickly that I have forgotten what it is like to be the newbie. That's no problem though, in just a few months it will be like I have started all over again, maybe a little wiser, maybe a little more brave. 

College is like that second chance at high school that most everyone wishes for once they graduate. No longer a naive and timid freshman. This second time around you're a fully loaded freshman, equipped with the tools to handle those situations that seemed so new in high school. So, I guess I find it funny that, during such a melancholy time, when I should be focusing on finishing up senior year, I find myself thinking of the future and how its more like I am jumping back to the past.
